Ask Daiv
EDITORIAL POLICY

Useful, sourced and clear about uncertainty.

Ask Daiv exists to help readers make better-informed decisions. Our process is designed to add context rather than simply repeat an announcement.

Selection

We select stories for relevance to Australian organisations, practical usefulness, significance and source quality. Inclusion is an editorial decision, not an endorsement of a company or product.

Sources and claims

We link to the original source wherever possible. Company claims, projected benefits and unverified performance figures are attributed to the organisation making them. For legal, regulatory and government matters, we prefer official material and clearly distinguish proposals from enacted requirements.

AI and automation

Automated tools may monitor approved feeds, extract source details and assist with early drafts. They do not decide what is published. Published items are reviewed for relevance, attribution, internal consistency and appropriate Australian context before approval.

Original value

A brief should explain why the development matters, what readers can do next and what is still unknown. Longer guides aim to include practical steps, examples, limitations and evidence that go beyond the source announcement.

Corrections and updates

Material errors are corrected when identified. Significant updates are reflected in the page's modified date. Readers can contact hello@askdaiv.com.au with evidence or clarification.

Commercial independence

Commercial relationships do not determine editorial conclusions. Sponsored or affiliate content will be labelled clearly if Ask Daiv introduces it. Product coverage should explain limitations and fit, not only benefits.
